W. Graham Arader III: Owner, Arader Galleries

Graham Arader is the sole proprietor of Arader Galleries, a firm comprised of galleries in New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Houston, Denver, and King of Prussia. Mr. Arader is a graduate of Yale University, and he has specialized in 16th–19th century, natural history works, maps, rare books and atlases, and American paintings since 1971. Profiles of W. Graham Arader III and his business have appeared in several distinguished publications including the Smithsonian Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, and The New Yorker. He is considered to be the world authority in his area of expertise.


Alison A. Petretti: Director, 1016 Madison Gallery
and gallery partner

Alison Petretti joined Arader Galleries in 2000 after earning a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History and Photography from Providence College in Providence, Rhode Island, where she focused on work on paper. Before joining the Arader team, Ms. Petretti also worked in several creative environments and her experience and design sense has led her to build a number of important private and public collections in the United States and abroad.


Caleb Kiffer: Director of Rare Books and gallery partner

Caleb Kiffer graduated from Penn State University in 2001 with a degree in Art History, primarily focusing on 15th- and 16th-century Dutch painting. Mr. Kiffer joined Arader Galleries in June 2002 and quickly learned how to handle, examine, sell, and collect antique prints. He became the head of rare books at Arader Galleries in 2006, and is cataloguing one of the greatest collections of natural history, travel, botanical, and atlases ever assembled.


Lori Cohen: Director of Philadelphia Gallery
and gallery partner

Lori Cohen has worked in the international fine art market for more than 22 years. Ms. Cohen received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History from Bennington College in Bennington, Vermont. In 1986, she joined Arader Galleries in Philadelphia, working as an associate and curatorial advisor in San Francisco, New York, and Chicago where she gained invaluable experience at the high end of the art trade. On returning to Philadelphia in 1990, she became director of Arader Galleries. In 2000, Ms. Cohen became a partner in Arader Galleries Philadelphia. Her clients include major museums and libraries around the world. In addition, she advises numerous private and corporate collections throughout the United States. She also serves on vetting committees and panels for museums and international antiques shows.
